Showcasing innovative apparel, bags and footwear on the website of a leading French sports equipment company
Context
When contacted by freelancing platform MALT to create product descriptions for Salomon, I jumped at the chance to work with a company dedicated to outdoor sports – as a keen runner and trained running coach.
Salomon is a French company with its HQ in the Alps, but a global presence and distribution. The challenge? Create short texts that explain advanced technical features, multiple benefits AND weave in a little storytelling.
Adding value
That was back in 2019. Since then, I've worked with the Salomon teams to showcase new products each season across apparel, footwear and bags – as well as lending a hand with ad hoc projects and campaigns.
I work closely with the in-house product and marketing teams (in French or English) to showcase all the latest innovations.
